Conspiracy, Fascism, Freemasonry

The above video, based on Martin Short’s “Inside the Brotherhood: Explosive Secrets of the Freemasons” and Stephen Knight’s “The Brotherhood: The Explosive Expose of the Secret World of the Freemasons,” explores the influence and practices of the secretive Masonic orders.

Free Masonry began centuries ago in Europe as a means of keeping private engineering and trade secrets as stone masons worked to construct the great cathedrals of the Middle Ages with knowledge newly gleaned from the Islamic civilizations of the Middle East. Today, though, and for some time, in fact, it’s had little to do with masonry proper and much more to do with back room power brokering. And then there are the magical portions, which, claim the Masons, date back to ancient Egypt, parts of which have apparently spilled over into murders from Jack the Ripper to Dunblane and Michael Brea.

Anti-Masonic sentiments have long run high in populist circles but rarely have these been successfully translated into anything positive. Although Masons were made official enemies of the pseudo-populist corporate fascist governments of early 20th century Europe, for instance, it is very unlikely that these moves were sincere in the slightest.
