One week after the 9/11 attacks, the first germ-laced letters of the 2001 anthrax attacks were mailed. Early media reports attempted to link “Al Qaeda” to the attacks and a few stabs were made at tying in Iraq. However, it was soon revealed that the anthrax used in the letters had originated with the United States military and “strangely,” the FBI had a hard time investigating any further. Citizen Investigation Team’s “National Security Alert” represents the culmination of several years of independent research on the Pentagon portion of the 9/11 attacks. CIT’s conclusions are that American Airlines Flight 77 or if not AA77, whichever plane actually was witnessed in the Pentagon’s vicinity around the time of the attack, not only did not hit the building but that the plane flew along a different flight path than what CIT refers to as the “south side” approach, a hypothetical approach which was embraced by the 9/11 Commission. The light poles which were downed along this “south side” trajectory and which supposedly damaged Lloyde England‘s taxi cab as they fell would therefore have been damaged by other means. Between 2003 and 2006, not a great deal of new research on 9/11 was performed. A majority of the information which circulated at this time criticizing the official story of the attacks was based upon points which had already been made in years prior. In 2007, however, the Citizen Investigation Team published new information in “The PentaCon,” a video which summarized their original interviews with eyewitnesses to the Pentagon attack, a segment of the attacks which had left so many researchers confused due to the lack of video footage of the event and other factors. From their research, the CIT group came to the conclusion that a large airplane had most likely flown toward the Pentagon along a different trajectory than the official one, then flew over the top of the section of the Pentagon which showed damage later on while an explosion of some other origin occurred which was responsible for the explosion there. Many of the witnesses to this event specifically stated that the plane made its approach on the north side rather than the south side of a CITGO gas station near to the Pentagon, meaning that the plane’s trajectory could not match the official version and its downed light poles and other damage. This wide ranging and highly informative talk by investigative journalist Daniel Hopsicker centers primarily on Hopsicker’s research into the pre-9/11 activities of several alleged 9/11 hijackers including Mohammed Atta in and around Venice, Florida where some of them are supposed to have attended flight school. Hopsicker’s past research has focused on the CIA’s drug trafficking activities in Arkansas and elsewhere and it is partly through these links that his 9/11 information came to light. Hopsicker makes an excellent point in this speech about how full the internet is with mere opinions and suggests that if social activists want to move forward, they ought to consider training in journalism. John McMurtry’s lecture, “Why the Facts of 9/11 Are Suppressed: Understanding the Ruling Group Mind Behind the War Without End,” is an incisive critique of the mass schizophrenia gripping the U. S. and its allies in their waging of the so-called “War on Terror” with the 9/11 attacks as their justification. Author Peter Dale Scott here delivers a speech before the Coalition on Political Assassinations comparing suspicious elements in the JFK assassination and 9/11 attacks. Both Lee Harvey Oswald and most of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, for instance, were identified by the FBI under questionable circumstances within minutes of the crimes being committed. This chilling clip summarizes the pilot episode of a spin-off of the popular X-Files television show called “The Lone Gunmen.” The plot revolves around a conspiracy to crash a remotely controlled airliner into not just any skyscrapers but the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in order to foment a war and increase arms sales. This German documentary presents a European perspective on the United States’ history of lying to the world in order to advance war agendas with a particular focus on the 9/11 attacks and the so-called “War on Terror.” This video serves as an excellent aid to understanding why the official version of 9/11 is an obvious lie, from the legends of the hijackers to the physical effects observed in the plane crashes and destruction of the buildings, and continues on into an extended analysis of the role of the media in promoting these lies, the agenda of social transformation which has been put into place in their wake and other topics.
